Weekend Sketches #2 - Sol and Nyx Return

A series of sketches depicting Sol (light haired woman) and Nyx (darker haired woman) both in states of frustration with each other, drawn from a base made by @Capochiino1 on Twitter.

Top row from left to right:
First image -
Nyx (smaller background with her fist raised in determination): Make a pact with me!!
Sol (larger foreground) simply stares in tired frustration with her brows angled downwards.
A text box that reads “Later…” between the first and second images.
Second image -
Nyx (smaller background and shrugging): IDK how to remove the spell.
Sol (larger foreground with her hands together seeking clarity): What do you MEAN??

Sol (larger foreground, rubbing her temples in anger and thinking to herself): I... HATE Magic users...

Sol (larger foreground, simply gripping the bridge of her nose and her eyes closed in continued frustration)

Sol (larger foreground, incredulous concern): HOW??

Nyx (bigger foreground with a murderous closed mouth smile on her face, her eyes also closed in mock cheeriness. There is lightning magic crackling from her right hand and an arrow points to her with some text reading: Any time she catches sight of a Demon.)

Sol (smaller background, with a confident smile on her face and her longsword slung over her right shoulder): Leave this fight to the BIG GIRLS.
Nyx (larger foreground, with an unimpressed look on her face at Sol’s arrogance and bombasity)

Sol (smaller background, holding up two halves of her longsword, which has been broken in two): Hey so, I broke my sword. Could you magic it back together?
Nyx (larger foreground, an incredulous look on her face a both hands held forward in an expression that silently denotes “HOW??”)

A series of black and white sketches of Sol and Nyx wandering about a large forest, foraging for food and making soup together in a small black cast iron cauldron in various encampments.

A series of black and white sketches of Sol sewing a warm fur lining into Nyx’s cloak while day dreaming about Nyx’s joyful gratitude and embracing her out of thanks until finally Sol shakes herself out of her daydreams. Followed by a bottom sketch where helps Nyx put on her new cloak while Nyx similarly daydreams about Sol tenderly kissing her on the forehead.

Sol is chattering idly with a word balloon indicating such with the caption “idea chatter” while she unconsciously reaches out with her right hand and gently strokes the side of Nyx’s face in what is labeled with a pin arrow a “tender touch.”

Image two Sol immediately pulls her hand away from Nyx’s face upon realizing what she is doing and looks away blushing. Nyx similarly stops reading and whips her head around to stare at Sol. A thought bubble emanates from Sol’s head in which she thinks to herself “Why do I keep doing that??” while a similar one flows from Nyx’s head that reads “Why does she keep doing that?”

A black and white sketch that follows from the previous one in the gallery. It depicts Nyx staring askance at a partially obscured Sol. Nyx is blushing but her expression reads as suppressed frustration while she thinks to herself through thought bubble “But more importantly... Why does she keep stopping??”

It's that time again!! Time for weekend sketches featuring my two demon hunting lesbians~

Nothing in colour this week, just black and white sketches. I'm still going through the backlog of what I had posted to Pillowfort before the whole site went into hibernation. A lot of these are fairly old (like, a few months lol) so the girls still look a bit off while I was trying to get a grasp of what I wanted them to look like.

They're just suffering through preliminary Big Emotions and Pining that comes before they get their emotional acts together.

Thank you! More like I'm planning an illustrated novel. But that's a little while away, I've got other smaller projects on my docket before I hop on their story. I'm glad you like them >:3c
